Meet Our Board

President: Tamie Sauve
Tamie Sauve President of Americans Supporting Armed Services has an extensive background in upper retail administration, personnel hiring and training, office management, and customer service skills. Sauve has grown to be a resourceful individual, creative problem solver, and successful motivator in building strong team leadership with a business. She is known as an active leader in recruitment of new store setups and grand openings for over twenty years. Sauve has been the recipient of Loss Prevention and Management awards for Stage Store Incorporated. Her years of retail sales and marketing have given her a special insight into the interest of saleable goods to the public forum.
Articles detailing the journey of Sauves efforts supporting the military have been printed in Northern New York publications such as The Massena Observer covering the St. Lawrence River Valley, The Malone Telegram covering Northern New York, and most recently North Country Now. An interview with Fox News was televised locally promoting her first publication
“The View from Inside”.

Chief Operations Officer: Paula Murphy
Paula Murphy’s career spans with extensive experience ranging from over 30 years in the grocery retail field as a Pricing Coordinator in Texas
to 10 years in upper retail management with department store chains at Peter Harris Clothing and Stage Store Incorporated in Northern New York.
Paula was a top leader in the growth and development of staffing and excelled in the areas of store performance and maintaining
financial stability for individual store performance ratings.
Along with Murphy’s professional career she was actively involved in raising money for The March of Dimes where she was recognized for her achievements and was also active in raising awareness for Cystic Fibrosis a passion personal to her in honor of her niece Ashley who passed away from CF.
In addition, Paula was on The Board of Directors for the KCHA Hockey League in Abilene, Texas for eight years acting as Secretary and expanding her role over the years to Assistant League Director.

Chief Developmental Officer/Secretary: Jessica Mattison
Jessica’s career has entailed 16 years in the medical field performing duties under the titles of Medical Assistant and Medical Secretary in an office environment. Jessica has also played an active role in the Massena, New York Visionary Committee a group that was established to improve
and enhance the appearance of their local town. This committee was involved in park cleanups, downtown enhancement, and environmental
improvement through planting of trees and flowers.
Further efforts were made to create community involvement by hosting public trivia nights and attending local village meetings.
Jessica has a special insight into the mission statement that Americans Supporting Armed Services envisions by being a board member who has a brother who is directly affected by Burn Pit Exposure (BPE) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder due to his time served in Iraq. Her unique perspective dealing firsthand with a loved one affected by these conditions along with her medical background makes her a valuable candidate
for seeing things through the eyes of those we strive to assist.
